There's always something going on here The Bear. To keep things simple we've created a calendar with all our upcoming events. The question is, which will you come along to?
MONDAY
On Mondays, we're probably resting or like all great bears, we'll be fishing for salmon, somewhere in the wilds of Alaska. Whatever the case, we're closed on Mondays for some well-earned rest but keep scrolling as every week we have a lineup of unmissable events for you to choose!
TUESDAY
Soft Tuesdays with Ed from Balham
WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday all roads lead to The Bear. We welcome the Grove Lane Runners through our doors after their Midweek 10km. Starting at 7:30pm from Grove Lane, finishing at 8:30pm for a refreshment here with us. For more information on Grove Lane Runners, visit their website.
We'll be spinning vinyl all night! You're welcome to bring your collection down and jump in the mix with Bee Anchor for an evening of open decks.
THURSDAY
Vintage night on the decks.
SUNDAY
Every Sunday at 5:30pm we have the Paul Partridge Pub Quiz. Make a team and come to challenge yourselves against other customers with a chance of winning some cold, hard cash. Anyone caught cheating will receive a beating from all other teams.
After the quiz, it's the after-party. Grab a drink and settle into the Sunday Sojourn with Christafari from Dash The Henge on the decks. You can expect an eclectic mix of sounds and genres from Camberwell's finest.
MONTHLY LINE-UP
DASH THE BEAR
Dash The Henge is a genre-fluid record and book store located right here in Camberwell, just a few doors down from The Bear. Both being lovers of good music, it seemed rude not to get together. The last Saturday of every month we host 'Dash The Bear', the house selectors from Dash The Henge along with special guests for some hand-picked beats.
BEE ANCHOR ON THE DECKS
Friend of The Bear, Bee Anchor will be jumping on the decks every first Friday of the month. Bringing us a mix of old school hip hop, soul, funk and dance music to Camberwell.
